Our hope is that each attendee leaves with a renewed sense of purpose to continue to build upon the shared vision of community connectedness that leads to transforming school design, teacher collaboration and student voice. In West Hawai‘i, we are seeing the impact of the work that began with our Instructional Leadership Team process - school teams that have come together to strengthen instructional practices for school improvement and student success. With the development of our community engagement initiative and Hōkūpa‘a framework, it is more evident that strengthening our partnerships and making new connections are vital to assisting our keiki in preparing for their future.
